Presented in partnership with The Leonard Davis Center for the Performing Arts at City College and in association with the Harlem School of the Arts, The Harlem Chamber Players' this year’s Black History Month Celebration features music by living composers in celebration of their contributions to American classical music.
Members of The Harlem Chamber Players -- violinists Ashley Horne and Claire Chan, violist William Frampton, and cellist Wayne Smith -- will perform a concert of works by past and living Black composers as well as a European classic.
ETHEL and Friends is a music series lovingly programmed for “Date Night” at The Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Great Hall Balcony Cafe on the 2nd Floor, by the resident ensemble, ETHEL. “Date Night” Artists perform 3 sets on Fridays and Saturdays from 6 - 8:30 PM.
