Honoring Tania León, William Schuman Award Concert, Columbia School of the Arts

Miller Theatre at Columbia University School of the Arts opens its 2025-26 Season with "Honoring Tania León: William Schuman Award Concert," on Thursday, September 25, 7:30PM at the Miller Theatre - 2960 Broadway at 116th Street.

An incredible cast of musicians joins together in tribute to the legendary composer, honored with the 2025 William Schuman Award given by Columbia School of the Arts Co-Produced with Columbia School of the Arts.

This concert celebrates Tania  León's transformative contributions to the field with a program showcasing the vitality and depth of her vibrant body of work. A thrilling cast of musicians—chosen by the composer for their collaborative approach and dedication to the selected works—joins together in tribute to this inspirational cultural icon.
