Toomai String Quintet, an ensemble known for championing works by Latin American composers through its inventive original arrangements, makes its Phillips debut in a dynamic program of music from Cuba, Brazil, Spain, Mexico, and the United States.
Presented in partnership with The Leonard Davis Center for the Performing Arts at City College and in association with the Harlem School of the Arts, The Harlem Chamber Players' this year’s Black History Month Celebration features music by living composers in celebration of their contributions to American classical music.
